The world is full of confusing
things,
But none like the gift
of life,
And none like the wrath
of death.
No two other things,
Greater puzzle us human
beings.
To see the fury and rage
of a robin,
After the human touch is
smelt,
Could make the strongest
person sin,
And is bound to hurt the
soul within.
But to first see the robin’s
egg hatch,
Would greater mind and
body attach,
Life may bring endless
joy,
But ‘tis life, as well,
That strengthens the boy,
Who witnesses the hatch,
And then experiences
the wrath.
